Ultrafor™ – protect the environment with an ultra-efficient effluent treatment process

Ultrafor™ is an ultrafiltration membrane bioreactor (MBR) incorporating a specific high-performance biological treatment process for organic pollution and suspended solids. Ultrafor combines aerobic digestion with a separator unit featuring ultrafiltration membranes, meaning that it is particularly suited to disinfecting or recycling wastewater.

Greenbass™ - energy efficiency guaranteed

The most energy-intensive component of a treatment plant is aeration, accounting for 40 to 70% of the energy used. Greenbass™ continuously adjusts the airflow delivered to the biological sludge treatment stage and saves considerable money on energy consumption.

Membrane treatment

Membrane treatment systems can be used to demineralise water intended for cooling systems, boiler systems and manufacturing processes (food & drink industry). This continuous treatment process does not require any chemical products.

BioControl™ - for keeping your sludge production under control

BioControl™ is one of the only processes on the market that can reduce the production of biological sludge (by up to 90%) and the overall cost of treatment, while allowing more pollution to be treated (increased BOD5 treatment capacity with performance reaching 95%) and maintaining the quality of the sludge. Furthermore, BioControl™ only requires a small initial investment and quickly pays for itself.

LifeCarbonTool - managing and controlling your CO2 emissions

LifeCarbonTool.com is a web portal designed for the water industry, where users can produce an online simulation of the carbon footprints for their drinking water, wastewater or desalination plants. The site gives users a carbon calculator and a database of emission factors specific to water treatment.

SCIP, Shanghai Chemical Industry Park

In China, Degrémont Industry has built the effluent treatment plant for the Shanghai Chemical Industry Park (SCIP), boasting a capacity of 50,000 m³/day.  Designed to receive a wide variety of effluent, the plant discharges water in accordance with the park’s very high standards and recycles part of the effluent as demineralised water. Combined with a dedicated research centre for effluent treatment (SWRc), this cutting-edge plant ensures that the environmental impact of the park’s activities is kept to an absolute minimum.
